Biography

Hailing from Iqaluit, NU, Simeonie Kisa-Knickelbein is an emerging actor, assistant director and producer with Red Marrow Media. Kisa-Knickelbein first got his start in film production as a camera assistant on the hit comedy show, Qanurli. Soon after his early exposure to film and television production, Kisa-Knickelbein enrolled in the Nunavut Sivuniksavut program in Ottawa, ON in 2017, where he discovered the performing arts. This led to an audition and subsequent casting in the fourth season of the hit series Outlander, which he filmed in Scotland throughout the summer of 2018.

Returning once more to work behind the camera, Kis-Knickelbein added a Third Assistant Director credit to his name in the summer of 2019 with his work on the film Slash/Back, set to release in late 2020. In the fall of 2020, Kisa-Knickelbein was announced as the Hub Director of the Qaggiq School of Performing Arts in Iqaluit, NU.
