Filing taxes can feel messy and confusing, especially for artists. Roll up your sleeves and get a head start on tax season this year with this workshop on taxes for artists, with Lauren Semeschuk, a dancer and tax preparer!

In conversation with Inuk artist and Artist Services Manager, Amy Norman, they’ll demystify the process and walk through the most important terms and documents artists need to understand. Topics will include self-employment income, deducting expenses, and GST/HST.

Participants are encouraged to send questions ahead of time to artistservices [at] inuitartfoundation [dot] org

*Please note that Lauren Semeschuk is not taking on clients at this time. For detailed advice about your personal tax situation, you may need to seek out additional support from other tax professionals.
