Biography

Sarah Emily Meeko is a jeweller and textile artist from Sanikiluaq, NU. She first learned to make jewellery and how to sew when she was a child at school through the teachers’ instructions. Meeko primarily makes polymer clay earrings of various designs including in the shape of Emojis and miniature Mukluks. She also works with sealskin to make mittens, parkas, hats and boots. She primarily sells her works online and at local craft fairs.
